Motives Cosmetics will be a Name Brand

Hello, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I have been pretty effing lazy lately when it comes to mix and matching colors. On a regular basis, chances are I awakened late and do not have much time to put more than minimal effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, sporadically eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it was not until I received some Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely i have been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.

Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a fairly new line that isn’t enormous, but definitely should be. It is not super pricey, and many cosmetics firms do not get that quality doesn’t need to be at once related with cost. This is not one of those companies. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.

It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I just wish to use my pinky finger to mix the colours. I attempted on some different shades over the course of a week to get an experience of all of the colors. They don’t seem to be super-heavy, so it’s possibly not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works pretty well for wearing to parties and such like. You may also mix the colors with a tiny water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you intend to be out for hours at a time and do not need motives makeup wearing out before you do.

I’m customarily not keen on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF 15 ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and did not have a cakey finish. While I won’t wear it each day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. Nights and times I am on camera ( hi-def is a bitch )

Last Sat. I was headed to a party, so I believed it’d be charming to layer their new gloss ( coming directly on the site over the wealthy Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a big amount of compliments, and the hubby liked it, so when I awakened the following day still a touch lagered and prepared to wear an exciting outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : toothsome breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.

Ultimately, i have been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days rather than my common cheek stain. It hasn’t made a giant difference, but that is kind of the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got a large amount of compliments, I love Motives Cosmetics !
