Whew! my great new dental coverage has just went into effect!
It’s been so long since the last time I was insured that I’ve ended up suffering from some unnecessary dental pain. The good news is, my new job provides an insurance policy that is actually better than any other insurance I’ve ever had before. Because of that, I’m planning on having my dental problems fixed up right. My coverage is so good, it turns out, that I’m seriously pondering surpassing the usual basic dentistry work and looking into some cosmetic dental work too. My daughters have been asking about doing some invisalign or some laser whitening, so I’m looking into what kinds of prices we can get on getting those done.
The major challenge, for me, is figuring out how to find a dentist close to home. I honestly feel terrible to admit it, but my family currently has no regular family dentist that we know and trust. We live in Tampa, Florida, so I’ve been on the lookout for a Tampa Bay dentist that is good with kids and has a a lot of good experience doing work with lasers and implants and sedation. It’s not so easy to find! There are a lot of things to take into consideration when you’re finding a dentist. I’m not sure, for example, if I would want to go to a dentist who didn’t get most of his experience in another area of medicine.
As far as the advanced dentistry services go, I’ve genuinely been considering the idea. The most up-to-date approaches have definitely been taking off over the past few years. I keep hearing about them on my favorite talk radio programs, how much better they are than the usual dentistry techniques. I’ve been looking around the web for “dental implants Tampa” and it appears as though the training and equipment they use is just light years beyond what you would have gotten 20 years ago, so I’m hoping that my family will be able to enjoy such advanced dentistry now that I have a good job. No more dental emergencies for us!
